Welcome!

Welcome to my blog. This will be my version of Disneyland kind of virtual journey through which you will get to see snapshots of my travels in the past years. This blog also aims to give some ideas about photography including some tips and techniques with the photos I took in the past years. I am hoping that it would help those of you starting amateur photography.

My followers will probably include travel lovers, and photography lovers, or most likely those who like the two together, just like myself :) I will also mention some news that I see on the internet or just about anything that is related to photography or digital photography. Since photography is my biggest passion, I always look at things through a lens view. I try to put a "4x6" frame on what I see daily. I always think "how it would look in a photo". Thus, I take a lot photos, and usually not just one photo of one thing, but many photos of one thing. This helps me to choose the best photo with the best lighting, posing, and framing structure.

All of the pictures in this blog will be the photos I personally took unless you see me in the picture :) Then it's probably a friend taking the picture :) I use a Canon 5D as camera which is higher amateur kind of camera with lots of manual settings to play with. My father used to be a journalist and always used a Nikon. Why do I prefer Canon? Because it is so much easier to use. Especially every day use of Canon is a breeze whereas Nikon DSLRs usually require many settings before you can take a picture. I believe that photography should be fun, not quite like engineering :)
