Here is another favorite of mine: Night Landscape Photography. I believe the night and the lights at night add a lot to a scenery. Therefore I like night shots better than photos illuminated with sunlight. There are a few tricks for successful low light or night photography. The most important one is either a tripod or a really really steady hand. Steady hand could help up to a point, let's say 7pm. However if you want to take a picture at midnight in Boston, you definitely need a tripod. And some settings to the camera are required, longer exposure time.
