The Concorde, fastest commercial passenger airliner's flights have been stopped. Concorde used to fly regularly between London Heathrow and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport to JFK and Washington Dulles, flying these routes at record speeds, in less than half the time of other airliners. As a result of the Concorde's only crash on July 25th 2000, and the economic effects arising from the 9/11, operations ceased on 24 October 2003. The last flight occured on November 26th 2003. And I took this photo shortly after its retirement, when it has been transported to NYC for storage. This is the British Airways version.
